Research Data Management

A collection of information to assist with RDM

Aurora College Institutional RDM Strategy

In an effort to support Canadian research excellence, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) issued the Tri-Agency Research Data Management Policy. One requirement of this policy is that institutions develop and post an institutional RDM strategy that describes how they will foster a culture of strong research data management (RDM).

As a Tri-Agency eligible institution, Aurora College is committed to supporting its researchers to incorporate RDM into their research activities. The following strategy outlines our goals to formalize RDM practices and create robust supports to ensure that our institution maintains a high standard of research excellence.

Aurora College Research Data Management (RDM) Institutional Strategy: Version 6

This strategy is a living document that will change as the institution, RDM practices, and Tri-Agency requirements evolve. As such, it should be considered a draft guide rather than a finalized plan. Feedback and suggestions from the College community and our partners is welcome and can be emailed to RDM@auroracollege.nt.ca.
