Borealis

Borealis is a Canadian dataverse repository supported by the Digital Research Alliance of Canada, along with many academic and research institutions. Aurora College has an institutional platform on Borealis to share and promote our research data. Please contact the libraries to learn more and for assistance with depositing your data.

Federated Research Data Repository (FRDR)

FRDR is a Canadian data repository that is ideal for large data sets, such as GIS data. FRDR provides digital object identifiers for your data and secure storage of data for up to 10 years.

Faculty, researchers, and librarians who are part of an organization that is eligible to receive Tri-Agency funds (such as Aurora College) can deposit data. You can sign up to FRDR with your email and/or ORCID and can deposit once you have been verified.

The video below, by the Canadian Association of Research Libraries, gives a brief overview of the benefits of using FRDR

For more information or assistance using FRDR please contact the libraries!
