Aurora College Writing Centre: Home

The Writing Centre Staff is available to meet with you to provide the following services: 

• Citation help: This includes assistance with navigating the APA 7 guide and working on real class citation examples.
• Writing support: Including improving writing skills, creating essay outlines, and exploring writing mechanics and style. *Please note* this is not an editing service. Tutors will work with you to improve your writing, but they will not do the writing for you!
• Assignment feedback: Written assignments may be submitted to the centre via email for feedback and suggestions. Responses may take up to 3 business days.
• Presentation practice: Students may practice presentations with writing centre tutors to ensure they are prepared for any upcoming classroom public speaking assignments or examinations.

The asynchronous virtual Writing Centre resources are available for your reference 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For more specific assistance, or for a one-on-one appointment with our Writing Centre staff, please make an appointment!
